Kinai ʻEha Virtual 360 Tours

Kinai ʻEha is a nonprofit that provides real-world vocational training, as well as life and workforce readiness skills for at-risk 17-24 year-olds from the Koʻolau region. Education Incubator worked with the Kinai ʻEha team to provide experiences to the youth with a focus on their interest and passions and helped document the work that the program does already by creating virtual 360 tours of the worksites.

Kinai ʻEha provides home accessibility for the physically challenged and the above is a 360 of a ramp that the youth built for one of the kupuna in the Waimanalo.

The youth also worked under the guidance of Earl Kawaʻa to build a hale in various locations. The youth built one with and for Hui Mālama o Ke Kai and another one at the Hawaiian Mission Houses. They also learned the parts of the hale as they were building.

Kamehameha Schools’ Strategy and Innovation Division, Community Engagement & Resources – Koʻolau Region, and Facilities Development and Support Division (FDSD) have partnered with the Kinai ʻEha Program to refurbish and paint the parking lot stairwells at Kawaiaha‘o Plaza.
